Nashville: A Long Weekend in Music City

Every few years, my college girlfriends get together and pick a city to explore. So when we were throwing out ideas, Nashville hit the radar. I’m a country music fan, so this was a no-brainer for me.

Enter the most fun I have had in a long time. Nashville has a very laid back down home vibe and good weather and ease of getting around made it the perfect spot to get together!

So we shopped, we walked and we soaked up all that Southern Charm!! Bonus points if you make cute matching shirts to wear around town!

We explored the 12 South and Gulch neighborhoods for all the boutique and bakery love. Barista Parlor served up an amazing Vanilla Bourbon latte and Five daughters 100 layer maple donut may have been worth he whole trip. We made sure to hit all the instagram worthy street murals:

Not knowing that Nashville has become the bachelorette party capital, it seemed like there were endless cute photo ops and fun group activities. Walking downtown Broadway at night gave us all the people watching and good music we could have hoped for.

Ole Red, Whiskey Row and Jason Aldean’s were just a few we hit up and it seemed like they all had excellent rooftop views and talented musicians alike.

We didn’t forget the hot chicken (note: the mild is still pretty spicy) For a 3 day weekend trip, we pretty much stuck with the main attractions, but I can definitely say I wold go back to explore even more. Also, take people you love…. pretty much makes everything better!
