Our journey started out of dream many years ago to one day take our kids abroad. I never imagined how that path would actually play out. Nevertheless, we have taken the road less traveled and it has made all the difference. This is the story of our journey living, traveling and raising kids overseas. We started out in 2016 with two young kids leaving beautiful suburban America and heading off to Cartagena, Colombia. You can find the beginning of that story here. Many years later, after a pitstop in the Pacific Northwest, we have found ourselves in Seoul, South Korea. This time with older children (including a teen), living in the middle of a very large city with lots of cultural changes. Our stories are the fabric of these years in different corners of the globe. I plan on keeping it truthful: the good, the bad and everything in between.
When I’m not trying to find the best themed cafe or mastering the art of over packing, I am busy chronicling our family’s misadventures, sharing tips on surviving long-haul flights with kids/pets, and offering a peek into the everyday joys and challenges of expat life. Join me as we explore the world, one blog post at a time, and discover that no matter where you are, home is where the adventure is.
