Top Travel Apps For 2025

These days, there are so many travel apps that it can be difficult to know which one’s you need and when and where to use them. I have assembled a list of some of my favorites, from planning unique and personalized itineraries to currency converters and knowing up to date state department travel alerts. These apps will keep your whole crew having fun and not fretting about all the details!

I have also included the top Korean specific apps (as many commonly used apps don’t work in Korea, I see you Google Maps) as well as travel apps specifically helpful in southeast Asia. I added in the desktop links as well as the download info for both Apple iOS and Android phones.

🔗 Android | iOS

Too many apps can feel overwhelming, but keeping them organized for your specific trip has been a big help. I keep a travel apps folder in my phone, storing them all in one place for streamlined usage (I have my Korea folder as well). Then, I move that travel folder to the front page of my phone when we are on the go for quick and easy access. Many of these apps work offline as well in case you don’t have wifi or data at your disposal. Getting familiar with your travel apps before you need them is the best advice, then they are easy to use when you are on the go!
