Starting our good-byes..

We have started our good-byes…. our “last time” visiting our favorite places. With a little more than a month to go, the countdown is on.

The summer bucket list wasn’t too long this year to keep plenty of time for hanging out but we did manage to hit one of our very favorite places on a cloudy Sunday morning to check on some very special animals.

But above anyone else, there is a special gator that crept his way into our hearts about five years ago, named Lance, and no visit is complete without spending some time with him.

The Oregon Zoo has been a wonderful place for my children to see and interact with the animals that fascinate them. One day we hope to see these animals in their natural habitat, but until then, we are grateful for the educational experience! It’s not good-bye, it’s see you next time.
