With as much as I travel, I must admit, I am a terrible packer.   I start 3 weeks in advance only to scramble at the last-minute, usually bringing way too much stuff and rifle through my suitcase constantly during my trip looking for what I need.  Of course I always find what I’m looking for, when I’m unpacking my suitcase after we get home.

Not every trip is created equal, so I know packing depends on access to washer/dryer, duration of stay and what not.  I have mastered the carry on situation so I don’t need a list of items to bring, but more the equipment I use could stand for an upgrade.

I can’t be the only one who has traveled quite a bit and yet still struggles?  Give me all your tips, your tricks, your favorite travel and packing gear!  I need all the help I can get!
